Peter T Griffiths building company was established in Conwy, North Wales in 1923With 85 years of experience in a wide range of construction projects, Peter T Griffiths provides such assurances as standard - plus we have an excellent record for cost-effectiveness, timely fulfilment of deadlines and exceptionally high standards of client care.

Based in Conwy, North Wales, serving both a local and regional clientele, we have built up excellent working relations with our many valued customers – amongst whom we have earned a reputation for producing work of exceptional quality, earning us
awards and a large measure of repeat business.

  • Versatile and wide-ranging services
    We pride ourselves on being versatile building contractors, handling a variety of projects, from small refurbishment and maintenance works to large construction contracts. Our core business focuses on tendered traditional contracts for local authorities and health trusts, also for North Wales Police Fire and Rescue and private concerns. Our wide portfolio of projects includes; schools, offices, warehouses, other commercial enterprises and major refurbishment of large hotels.
  • Handling specialist projects
    We also carry out specialist civil engineering projects, and conservation works in connection with Cadw (the historic environment service of the Welsh Assembly Government). For over 10 years Peter T Griffiths have been involved with the National Trust in major restructuring works on the stone walls and slate roofs of Penrhyn Castle. Our Small Works Department also completes painting and maintenance contracts for a broad portfolio of customers.

    We have a number of significant quality and service accreditations, as issued by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the Contractors Health & Safety Scheme (CHAS), the National House Builders Confederation (NHBC), Construction Line and we are also members of the Considerate Constructor Scheme.

We adhere to the BREEAM ethos and fully understand the potential impact that we may have upon the environment and we are committed to excellent environmental performance at all times. We minimise waste through good purchasing practice, reuse and economic recycling – and wherever possible, we use products from sustainable sources. We always offer clients sustainable material options so as to maximise the environmental friendliness of a project.
